The Self-administration of Insulin programme is aimed at healthcare staff who work with patients on regular insulin as they need to be assessed to decide their ability to self-manage their insulin.
The programme consists of one elearning session and one quiz to check your understanding.

Welcome: The aim of the course is to support your development as a competent and safe practitioner in IV Therapy. The course is a blended approach to learning which means you will complete the Theoretical Components (online) of the course and then attend a day, Face to Face on practical skills session.

(Please confirm the day you wish to book with your manager beforehand, so that they can approve this, and it can be allocated as a study day on Healthroster.)
Once booked, you will receive an MS Teams link, which you will join at 08.00 on your selected date. This day will be protected time to complete your e-learning.
The cohort and password to access this page will be provided on the day of your IV Day 1 booking. Once your e-learning is completed, you will be provided with a booking link which will enable you to book your face-to-face IV Day 2 session.

Welcome to your Preceptorship Acute Deterioration: Assessment & Management (ADAM) Course. This day will be presented in a blended learning format, whereby you will have half a day’s training face to face and the other half completing a couple of online module / presentations. You will be allocated to a either an AM or a PM face to face session by Preceptorship Administrators - please see your individual preceptorship programme for more details. You will receive an enrolment key along with the course details a couple of weeks prior to your course. This will grant you access the online module which is to be fully completed prior to attending the face to face session.
