The Adolescent Health Programme (AHP) is an elearning programme for all healthcare professionals working with young people.

The Adolescent Health Programme comprises 71 elearning ‘sessions’, grouped together by topic into 13 modules. Each learning session takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. The sessions include interactive elements, case studies and self-assessments to reinforce learning and there are a range of resources signposted at the end of each session.

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT) provide NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and South Buckinghamshire. FHFT is giving you the chance to discover what a career in healthcare is like during this 5-day Virtual Work Experience programme. The programme aims to give students aged 14+ an overview of what a career in healthcare can offer, looking specifically at Medicine, Nursing, Maternity, Allied Health Professionals, HealthCare Science and wider health care.

The programme involves around 10 hours of activity, normally completed as two hours’ worth of work per day.

This course is intended for all doctors and nurses involved with children. It is based on the Sepsis Awareness elearning created by University Hospital Southampton, and converted for use by staff at FHFT.
